Questions
How many live games do I get on Free?
Five a day. Pro is unlimited live analysis, plus history, post-game review, and insights.
So what am I paying for?
Unlimited live analysis, plus full post-game review, unlimited history, and coaching insights.
What does Pro cost?
$0.99 for the first month, then $5 a month. Or $30 a year.
Can I cancel?
Any time, from Settings. Stripe hosts the billing portal, so cancelling takes two clicks and you keep Pro until the end of the period you have already paid for.
What happens to my games if I downgrade?
Nothing is deleted. You keep seeing the most recent 10, and the rest reappear the moment you resubscribe. You can also export everything at any time, on either tier.
Do you store my opponents’ usernames?
Only where they appear in the PGN the platform generated. We say exactly what we keep in the privacy policy, and there is a one-click export and a real delete.
Is Chess Wizard detectable by chess.com or lichess?
The extension reads the board and shows analysis in an overlay. The platforms do not detect the extension itself. Using engine assistance during live rated play still violates their terms. This is a tool for study and review.
Is my chess.com or lichess.org account linked to chesswizard.app?
No. Your Chess Wizard email and account are not visible to chess.com or lichess, and they are not connected. You can play on multiple platform accounts with one Chess Wizard account. We only use it for the daily live-game cap and to save the games you finish.
5 live games a day on Free. Unlimited on Pro.
Pro is unlimited live analysis, plus unlimited history, post-game review, and coaching insights.
